Our café concept

Located between the Saint-Corentin Cathedral and the place au Beurre, our Ceramic Café offers you a sweet interlude in the middle of our frantic daily lives. Push the door of our Ceramic Café and give yourself a moment of creativity alone, or with the people you love.

Within a cozy and warm atmosphere, you will have the possibility to choose among more than 50 models of white ceramics and unleash your creativity while having a drink, tasting a pastry, or an assortment of charcuteries.

The concept of Ceramic Cafés has evolved a lot over the last few years. Highly developed in Central Europe and North America, it is now possible for Quimper residents and visitors to the Cornish Capital to try this creative activity.

During 2 hours, free your creativity by using your imagination, described techniques and suggested inspirations. Relaxation guaranteed !

A little bit of patience

In order to reveal the colors of your ceramics and to protect them, they will pass through our hands to be glazed and fired at over 1000°.

It's ready!

After a week, come and get your work. If you are just visiting Quimper, we can send your ceramics by Colissimo (shipping costs are at the artist’s expense).

How do bookings work ? Simply call us on +33 (0) 9 83 96 31 97 or  click on the link below. Select the 2 hour time slot that suits you and specify the number of people attending the workshop.

Once there, we will explain the different existing techniques, and you will be ready to start.

FAQ

Ceramic painting is accessible to everyone. You don’t need to be good at drawing, painting or any other creative activity to create a beautiful piece. At the beginning of the session, we cill explain different techniques and we will remain at your disposal to answer your questions during the workshop. The most important thing is to have fun !
The price of our ceramics varies between 12 € and 50 € depending on their size. Once you have chosen your ceramic, you don’t pay for anything other than your drinks (pastries, drinks, appetizer board). Painting, accessories, glazing and firing are included in the price of your ceramic, no bad surprises !
Of course! It is possible to privatize the Café Céramique to organize your team buildings, birthdays, Bachelor and Bachelorette parties , or any other event. Regarding the rates, you just have to contact us directly by mail, phone or through the contact form, and we will organize together the event of your choice.
It is possible to cancel your session by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. In this case, thank you to inform us by email at bonjour@lecafeceramique.fr, or by phone at +33 (0) 9 83 96 31 97.
When purchasing the voucher, we credit the amount of the gift directly to your name in our software. When you want to use it, simply specify in your reservation that you have a gift voucher, we will then deduct the amount from your total at the end of your workshop. It is possible to use the voucher several times.
This activity is suitable for children aged 5 and over.
